Protein Smoothie.. especially for the runners out there!

For an A.M. Pick-me-up, try this yummy smoothie to get you going or refuel after the gym or running!

Ingredients:

2 cups mixed berries
1 cup of silken tofu
1/4 cup pomegranate juice
2 to 3 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons ground flax seed
1 teaspoon of finely grated peeled ginger

In a blender combine all ingredients. Combine until smooth about 20 secs. Gives you about 12 grams of protein!! If you aren't a Tofu person, you can swap for a Greek yogurt of choice.
